Sheaf

Terms

Terms of use

Last updated 22 October 2026. Sheaf is provided by Jadthena Limited, registered in England and Wales, company no. 16232930.

Using Sheaf

Sheaf is free to use while it is in beta. You can scan, sign and shrink documents for your own personal or business use. Only use it with documents you have the right to work with.

Signatures

Sheaf puts an image of your signature onto a PDF. It is not a certified or qualified electronic signature and does not verify who signed. Whether a signed document is valid for your purpose is up to you and the people you send it to; some documents, such as deeds, have extra legal requirements.

Your files

You keep all rights in your documents. Scan and Sign work on your device; Shrink sends your file to our server only to shrink it, as explained in our privacy notice. Keep your own copy of anything important: Sheaf doesn't store your files, so we can't recover them.

Fair use

Don't try to overload or break the service, and don't use it for anything unlawful. We may limit how many files one person can shrink in an hour.

No guarantee

We work hard to make Sheaf reliable, but it is provided as it is. Check every document before you send it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect loss, or for loss caused by relying on a document without checking it.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: andy@olijammedia.co.uk.
